Just a few weeks ago, NYC Parks said keep that massive tree because arborists think it’s worth more than the life of neighborhood kids passing by. No surprise the tree collapsed but homeowners need to do a class action or unite to sue NYC. This happens all the time a little wind passes by. Last time, two were killed by a falling tree but it was “city tree” and NYC parks refused to cut it down
