Many bike riders do not follow the rules of the road. Many come around corners fast, cross intersections on red lights, cut off vehicles, and go the wrong way on the road. It's not always the vehicles fault.
My husband was hit by a car while riding a bike April 17th, it's a blessing 🙌 this gentleman and my husband both lived through it. Drivers in Baltimore drive wayyyy toooo fast and reckless--slow down and pay close attention to your surroundings surreal before the next person isn't as lucky.
