Just received an email from the school: Dear Families, Due to an anonymous phone threat made toward our school and out of an abundance of caution George C. Marshall High School briefly in Secure the Building status. This means outside activities were canceled and all exterior doors were locked, while students and staff were able to move freely inside the building. We thank Fairfax County Police for a quick response to our school. While we do not believe that there is an ongoing threat to the school, police will continue to investigate and will have some officers onsite for the remainder of the school day. I want to also thank our staff and students for the responsible way that they followed directions. Working together, we can keep our school a safe place to learn. Sincerely, Jeffrey D. Litz Principal
