The animal care and control has programs to help you neuter your pets, but since you found him they will scan him for a microchip and they will hold them for a few days to make sure he's not lost and if no one claims him you can put a request for him when he's ready to go into adoption if you request for adoption they might do everything and just charge you the regular fees for adoption which before was $28 or so for older cats I don't know now they might have changed a lot of things. But also thank you a lot of people just abandon their pets and not many people do what you did. So God bless 🙏 and I hope everything goes well with your new Fur baby
