We work to live, not live to work. Having compassion and empathy is not weak. Watch what you say because the universe has a funny way of bringing things back to you. Really sit and think about the nasty things you’re about to put out there. I hope this person rests in peace and all the hurt souls in here saying horrible things find light in their hearts. Spread kindness not hate.

@wesitos213 @wesitos213 This is the E line. I ride daily to work, and the last three days running, the driver has had to brake suddenly because men (homeless?) have been using the railroad bed as a walking path in that area. (Between the Jefferson & LATTC stops.) I feel bad for the driver, I can’t imagine how terrible it is to know you’ve hit & killed someone through no fault of your own.
I'm sure the train opera isn't and shouldn't be held accountable since it takes time to stop the weight/force of a train. It can't just stop on a dime. I feel for the conductor cause that's gotta be difficult knowing someone died while you were operating the train.
My husband is a freight locomotive engineer and it happens nearly everyday! They think they can dare TONNAGE. Nobody thinks about how hard it is emotionally on train crews.
yall too worried about being late, capitalism really has a hold on yall… this is a HUMAN BEING plsss
