I'm a truck operator and when your confront with a hight issue. Safest thing to do before going under an overpass,is get out and look to see if you have clearance.
Ave K bridge had all kind of truck in its entire lifestand. All rental drivers should learn their height. Every block of Ave K has sign of bridge clearance.
Just let all the air out the tires the truck will drop lower
Those subway elevated tracks run low from Prospect Park down to Brighton Beach. I know, I’ve had to take alternate routes with my truck
