Everything Toro’s owner wrote is true if you are reading this. I personally met them and they are devastated. They have been looking for him for weeks. Please find it in your heart to return him safely! They are good people and just want their fur baby back.

Around 7:30pm on Sunday May 24th-we received a phone call from an unknown number. This person mentioned that we were not good owners and do not deserve Toro back. They mentioned that their family was keeping him. WE UNDERSTAND how a person would see a loose/roaming dog and assume the dog was being neglected. We don’t put blame on ANYONE who helps a loose/roaming dog that is in so much danger in such a busy area. But we are NOT bad let parents. We have been doing everything humanly possible to find Toro and get him back home. We are suffering without him because of a freak accident that has never ever happened in the past. We are offering a $3,000 reward for a safe return, for information leading to a safe return, with no questions asked. We genuinely appreciate keeping Toto fed and safe but we are heartbroken without him. This caller said they were going to call back but never did. PLEASE CALL ME BACK. You have been keeping Toro safe and that is ALL we care about.

@newyorkUser1735196018 he is definitely with someone we’ve been told. It seems like they’ve been seen him getting walked - I know he is cared for but the problem now is that they are refusing to give him back despite the cash reward

I’ve seen his poster up. So sad :( I hope he’s found soon
