This is truly sad. I lived in an apartment similar to this a block away these units. I have only one way in one way out when you’re living in a unit like this please invest in a portable ladder that can be found on Amazon. You just strap it to the window and you can climb down I mean this is if you have the opportunity to get out if you’re trapped if you’re sleeping, that’s another story and even with that if you have children in the home under five years old, there’s window guards so you can’t get out at all truly sad
Good idea. Also, buy a small fire extinguisher and practice an escape plan in case there is a fire in different locations of the home.

I am a paramedic for the fire department for 25 years. The screams and cries and things that I have seen have been traumatizing. The first year or two on the job was very emotional for me. 9/11 was the first day for me on my job
