11 command, can you get your fire under control? We're going to remove the compactor to the overhaul, and I have power in the fire guard. Check, command.
TFD A7 Fire 1 · 0:10
We were able to get in there a minute ago. We could probably force a door over here if you wanted them back over near the trash compactor. We copy, we'll relocate.

Command, you are 15 minutes into your operation. Fire alarm command, you can show fire under control. We're going to remove the compactor to do overhaul, and I have power on the fire guard. Check, command.
TFD A7 Fire 1 · 0:26
Engine 330, go ahead. Do you have access to the compactor from in there? We have access to the compactor, sir. We do have some smoldering debris in it. We could use a line up here through the inside. We won't be able to access, even if you pull this container out, except from the inside. I copy that. We'll get you a red line up there.
Firefighters have knocked down the fire and are preparing to move the compactor away from the building.
TFD A7 Fire 1 · 0:28
I don't see any more smoke out here. You still want to pull this away from the building? I think I have good knockdown. If we don't pull it away from the building, we're going to have to cut it open and put a flame fighter in it to make sure it's out. I copy. Then we'll still work on that. We're going to shut your line down for a second so we can back engine it up and get the truck in there to pull it away from the building. Engine 8, copy. We're going to get the line out of here and see what happens.
Firefighters are checking the building's interior for any fire spread.

Engine 330, command. Go ahead. I'd like you to go in through the main entrance over here on the alpha side and go into the storage room and make sure we still have no fire conditions on the inside. Copy, main entrance through the alpha side. Check for extension. Command, take the 331, I'm on scene, assuming safety. Copy, 331, your safety. Command Engine 20. Engine 20, command. There's going to be a call.
Firefighters are working to cool the compactor and locate a nearby hydrant for additional water supply.
TFD A7 Fire 1 · 0:18
Engine 20 command. We're on scene. We're trying to find the hydrant that's just going to be to the west of your truck. I copy that. Go ahead and make that hydrant. We're going to need it once we get this away from the building. All other units responding, stage level 1, please.
TFD A7 Fire 1 · 0:26
Command Engine 8, I don't know if Battalion 331 is going to be able to do it. It's pretty large. We can give it a shot and see if it moves. I copy that. We're going to put him into position. We might have to back Engine 8 up a little bit. I copy. Why don't we get him into position first so we can keep putting water on this and keep it cool, and then we'll remove the trucks when we need to.
TFD A7 Fire 1 · 0:25
Command Engine 8. Engine 8, command. I'm going to kind of hold on the side of this unit, see if we can get water on the active flame. Right now it's blocked by the doorway that goes from the compactor into the building itself. I copy that. Do you need any additional manpower? Not at this time, no.
