Yikes. Hope that the homes, people, and creatures are ok. Cali just seems like such a tinder box. AZ too, but we have such a sprawling city area made up of multiple cities and towns with no real vegetation or desert areas with a whole lot of flammable tinder in between. I mean we have our "washes" and random open areas full of dirt and palo Verde trees and brush, tumbleweed, but mostly in phx and the valley there isn't much. It's much more flammable in the northern areas where they have woods and have much more to burn

How are there so many fires popping up in the area today? Is this all from the arsonist citizen report earlier today?
