Old lady alert: They need to lower the speed limit on the residential segments of Emerson that are only one lane with no sidewalks. The stretch between Raymond and Southeastern constantly has people walking on the side of the road coming back from buying food at the gas station. There’s no sidewalk, everyone is swerving to avoid pot holes, there’s no left turn lane, everyone’s driving super fast.
How does lowering the speed limit make drivers today slow down? They don't follow the speeds now. (I'm not disagreeing. No one cares because no one fears being pulled over for speeding in any area other than highways, and not much fear there. If we could go back to days of less crime, police could spend their time being proactive instead of reactive)
We need speed humps all over indianapolis.
That section is very dangerous. The city needs to invest in putting sidewalks all over. I see people walking around with food etc on busy streets all the time
it seems like a jeep
