City told me there’s a 7 year waiting list for tree trimming. I’M. NOT. KIDDING.
@LanieSummers that’s… utterly disgraceful. this city really always waits for someone to die before something happens. same block this tree fell, people had been asking for a stop sign for AGES. honestly since i was a little kid (i’m in my thirties, never left the block). they didn’t put up the stop sign til someone got mowed down by a car. they’re not going to do anything about trees until they start falling on people instead of cars. >:/
City needs to step up their tree trimming game
the people living in the house by the tree that fell said that they’ve called the city about that exact tree multiple times before and nothing was done so yeah i’m thinking a lawsuit is definitely on the horizon
