The suspect was last seen wearing a dark baseball hat, black jacket, white t-shirt, black jeans, and gray and black sneakers.
A 43-year-old man was approached on the southbound platform, slapped in the face, and had a knife displayed against him before the suspect removed approximately $300 from his pockets. An earlier attempt to steal his backpack was unsuccessful. The victim was treated on scene for minor injuries.
The NYPD is seeking the public's help identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery at the 59th Street subway station on Thursday, April 30 at approximately 2:30 a.m.
