University used to be the go to I wanna live area. Now it's a stay away area if you value your life. It really is sad that violence has taken over and yet nothing is solved because someone either ends up dead or critically hurt for the rest of their life and then someone is going to serve the rest of their life behind bars. I can't for the life of me understand why people want to forfeit their freedom to do things like this.

This is the type of behavior that causes businesses to shut down. Violence affects more than people involved in wanting to hurt each other..... innocent people, people's small businesses & corporations. Who would even feel safe in that area shopping now - the entire University area is dangerous.
