Yeah, Metro, Battalion 14's on scene, 6659 Lake Ridge Road. It's got about a quarter to a half acre light to medium grass moving uphill. About a 5 mile an hour wind. Do have structures threatened ahead of the fire. It's known as Lake Ridge IC. The command post is at Lake Ridge Place and Lake Ridge Road. For more information, visit www.fema.gov.

@CSIHwoodHills I hope they REALLY make sure it's OUT! The Palisades fire was caused be a small fire on New Years that the Fire Department decided was out. Wrongly. When those winds picked up days later we all know what happened. You can blame Bass but it was LAFD who made THAT horrible decision themselves by their chief in command. There are high winds predicted this week along with very light rain possibly on Tuesday. Let's hope they are doing better this time. Fires can smolder underground for days... 🙏

@CSIHwoodHills I hope they REALLY make sure it's OUT! The Palisades fire was caused be a small fire on New Years that the Fire Department decided was out. Wrongly. When those winds picked up days later we all know what happened. You can blame Bass but it was LAFD who made THAT horrible decision themselves by their chief in command. There are high winds predicted this week along with very light rain possibly on Tuesday. Let's hope they are doing better this time. Fires can smolder underground for days... 🙏
