The reports that Highway patrol was in pursuit are believed to be wrong from what I heard on the scene. If it was a pursuit the highway patrol would of been there first and not the Fountain Valley police
The story is he was going north on the 405 at Brookhurst, apparently hit the center divider then crossed all lanes and spun out . He proceeded to drive up the off-ramp and veered left into the ground water reservoir. Apparently the police said the car was stolen and he was definitely on somthing and was smoking probably weed before he exited the car. The drone is what was on loud speaker commanding him to exit.
Pretty sure he lost control going into the freeway
Did he drive into the water on purpose??
