The deceased suspect has been identified as 44-year-old, Anthony Griffin. This is an active investigation and more details may be released when available.

Three victims of the attack, ages 65, 70 and 84, were transported to a local hospital with critical injures, however they are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.

Officers immediately began life-saving measures on the suspect and he was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

One officer shot his firearm at the suspect, striking him twice.

The officers attempted multiple means of de-escalation, however the suspect refused to comply and charged at the officers with the knife extended towards them.

The suspect was stating that he was "Lucifer" and refused to comply with at least 20 commands from officers to drop the knife.

From the 456 platform, officers spotted the suspect holding a large knife described as a machete.

As detectives moved toward the 456 platform, they encountered one of the victims coming up the stairs, confirming the attack.
