Terrible situation. It might sound harsh but alllll of the friendly, never hurt a fly dogs that sit in shelters while some people choose the reactive ones. If you can’t control your dog don’t have em.
And for those saying the dog was trying to be protective.. not all these animals are innocent. Some are just mean asf.
