According to the NYPD, at approximately 6:45 a.m. on Apr. 2, 2026, members of the Warrant Squad responded to 105 Willis Avenue to apprehend a man with a warrant.
Officers encountered a man in a bedroom. That man allegedly showed a gun. Officers discharged their weapons, hitting the person in the head. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
