Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a fatal crash in the 14900 block of Telge Road that left two people dead. According to preliminary information, a deputy had been pursuing the vehicle but lost sight of it before the crash occurred. The vehicle continued at a high rate of speed, entered a wooded area, and crashed. Deputies later located the vehicle and confirmed both occupants were deceased at the scene. Southbound Telge Road and westbound Spring Cypress Road were shut down as authorities worked the scene.
