Agree with widening the road. Too narrow right in that area, no room for a mistake.
Hopefully everyone is ok 🙏. Stop 11 needs to be completely resurfaced and widened with proper shoulders and sidewalks! All the money is stripped off the top via TIF DISTRICTS for pet projects instead of REAL improvements in the entire county.
Not saying this is what happened, but a few weeks ago, a racoon appeared from beside that bridge and I swerved from hitting it and almost hit the side wall of the bridge. Thankfully I avoided both!
I've almost hit that guardrail numerous times
My mom says the same thing untill her in my experience, it's just how the roads are angled. The bridge feels closer than it is so I just concentrate on the yellow lines around that area if that makes sense.
