Duo Sought After Abandoning Stolen Car, Stealing Purse From Vehicle

The second suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately 18 to 20 years old, 5'7", with a slender build, and a short black afro. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black jeans, and black shoes.

The first suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately 18 to 20 years old, 5'7", with a slender build, and brown hair. He was last seen wearing black jacket, black pants, black shoes with white shoe laces, and a black mask.

The 38-year-old female driver and the 4-year-old boy were not injured during this incident.

They then fled northbound on Rogers Avenue to an unknown location.

The suspects exited the vehicle with the victim’s purse, which contained a cellphone, three credit cards, and approximately $400 in cash.

After the victim entered a nearby location, two unidentified suspects entered the vehicle and drove eastbound on Parkside Avenue approximately one and half blocks before stopping.

On Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at approximately 1:05 p.m., in the vicinity of Bedford Avenue and Parkside Avenue, a 35-year-old female parked a 2024 KIA with the engine idling while a 4-year-old male passenger remained in rear seat.

The NYPD is seeking the public's help in locating two individuals wanted in connection to a car theft and subsequent purse theft at the above intersection.

Charge the mother for reckless endangerment... She left an unattended vehicle with a child in it as it was running.. If you have to leave a vehicle... TAKE THE KEYS, don't leave it running.. Now charge these two as adults.. Unauthorized Use, and kidnapping.. No bail until their court dates.. Crime will not go down until there is accountability.. The other option is post better pictures of these guys and Have the Police promise not to prosecute anyone that beats a " Posted" criminal.. Street Justice might be the only way to fix a broken system..

Charge the mother for reckless endangerment... She left an unattended vehicle with a child in it as it was running.. If you have to leave a vehicle... TAKE THE KEYS, don't leave it running.. Now charge these two as adults.. Unauthorized Use, and kidnapping.. No bail until their court dates.. Crime will not go down until there is accountability.. The other option is post better pictures of these guys and Have the Police promise not to prosecute anyone that beats a " Posted" criminal.. Street Justice might be the only way to fix a broken system..
