Man Killed in Apartment Shooting

Authorities say the suspects fled southbound on Jensen Drive in a small blue vehicle of unknown make or model. Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen with the HPD Homicide Division are leading the investigation.

Investigators state two Hispanic males approached the apartment and opened fire, striking the victim before fleeing. Police later described the suspects as three Hispanic males between approximately 5 feet 1 inch and 5 feet 8 inches tall, armed with handguns and a rifle. One suspect was described as a larger male wearing a black hoodie.

Around 4:55 a.m., officers found a 33-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. His identity is pending notification to family by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
