Just was driving in the opposite direction. Traffic is blocked up all the way to friars rd. Multiple police cars with weapons aimed near the military base
Where is traffic being diverted to? I’m at a literal standstill on the 163 to 15 merge.
CHP advised north bound freeway lanes will be closed for at leas the next 4-5 hours for their investigation and clean up
I was right behind them, it was a car chase involving a 4 runner with an attached trailer. The 4 runner was driving erratically and quickly away from several police cars when the trailer flipped on its side. The freeway is now blocked off right at Miramar, take a different route if you can!
