I hope they didn’t freeze to death inside their own home. Probably elderly person of natural causes. The ambulance will leave. However, the NYPD must remain guarding the body until the NYC Medical Examiner’s office’s coroner comes to the house and examines the deceased person. To rule out Homicide or Suicide. Sometimes this process can take hours while the family is home with their deceased family member. NYC needs to speed this process up.

However, the NYPD must remain guarding the body until the NYC Medical Examiner’s office’s coroner comes to the house and examines the deceased person. To rule out Homicide or Suicide. Sometimes this process can take hours while the family is home with their deceased family member. NYC needs to speed this process up.
