Citizen had put the zones up shortly after these were issued. I mistakenly thought the new alarm was about the air quality. LACoFD has been sampling the air every few minutes all afternoon. All readings were within a safe range. Samples of the water from the firefight is also within save ranges.

Safe ranges.

bc90069Jan 28 at 5:22 PM

Most of flames are now out. Drone footage shows the front left corner is still burning hot.

Toxic smoke ppl stay up wind from it. Do not breathe any of it. Keep your distance. This burning material can t smoke can cause long-term chronic respiratory illness.
