If you look at the video you can see multiple places of broken fiberglass. That's a kit car. For anyone doesn't know what that means that means you buy some old car that's usually extremely cheap and you buy a kit for some thousands of dollars that you put on it to make it look like a Ferrari or in this case a AC Cobra or something else. Some kit cars are quite good and very elaborate. Some have been used a lot on television such as the Ferrari Daytona in Miami vice. Which inexplicably had the colors of the rear tail lights reversed. Those I believe were made on Corvette cars. Some fake Ferraris made on Trans Am cars. The difference in value between a decent kit car AC Cobra and an original AC Cobra would be about 99%. Or in some cases more like 99.9%. No original Shelby AC Cobra's were hurt in this incident today.

Most you see are “kit” cars that people put together to look like generic cobras

There are VERY few real Shelby cobras in the world

It's likely a factory five kit, one of the (usually) cheaper builds. It has fake knockoff wheels, and modern seats. These cars are no joke- even with 300hp they're quick. And definitely not Jay Leno. His replica is very well built.
