Investigators say all five incidents are believed to be connected and involve multiple suspects working together across several precincts. Police released images of four suspects and the vehicles used in the burglaries and are asking the public to submit tips through Crime Stoppers.
Police report two more burglaries occurred early December 30 at separate businesses, where suspects again forced entry by breaking front doors. In these incidents, approximately $11,000 in cash and prescription medications were stolen, and the suspects fled in a white Mercedes SUV with another individual acting as the driver.
Police say the first three burglaries happened early on December 20, beginning around 6:00 a.m., when suspects broke the front doors of three commercial businesses in Queens. The suspects stole nearly $14,000 in cash, a safe, and large quantities of prescription medications before fleeing in a black Infiniti driven by additional accomplices.
