The driver was not necessarily driving crazily. I see pedestrians crossing that area illegally all the time. There is no crosswalk. These people gamble by crossing, and it's worse at night. Sometimes it's too late to react to someone crossing illegally in the road, and, unfortunately, getting hit is the outcome. I hope the person hit will be okay and that lessons are learned, regardless of who is at fault.

The driver was not necessarily driving crazily. I see pedestrians crossing that area illegally all the time. There is no crosswalk. These people gamble by crossing, and it's worse at night. Sometimes it's too late to react to someone crossing illegally in the road, and, unfortunately, getting hit is the outcome. I hope the person hit will be okay and that lessons are learned, regardless of who is at fault.
