@Hirasabbat winter anywhere has more fires. Think about it. Millions of cheap electrical lights strung up. Millions of heaters being used. Ovens and stovetops more likely to be used. People are more likely to be home using all their kitchen equipment. Water heaters are being overused and pushed to their limits. Not to mention the whole melting ice phenomenon that NYC has that causes manhole explosions. There will always be more fires and explosions in the winter. People aren’t careful.

@sagharborboat nope, summer has more fires in the desert in CA, UT, Arizona especially if you count brush fires
