Summary

Firefighters in Brooklyn responded to smoke emanating from multiple manholes and a transformer at the intersection of Lincoln Place and New York Avenue. Utility crews have been notified to address the transformer fire and associated electrical issues.

Battalion 38 to Brooklyn. 38. Box 1038, we used one engine, two trucks for 10-25, code 4. Originally we said they were manholes, but one of them is a transformer pushing smoke. All exposures were checked and rechecked. They check out. Lights are still flickering on New York Avenue. 234 is going to be left on scene awaiting Con Ed K. Thank you.
