It’s reasonable to question how this happens given the slower speed of the D train as it rolls into the last stop, and continues in the same direction on that track to reverse. Perhaps these accidents occurs when the train re-enters the station from the East. 30 years ago my aunt was killed by a D train at this station shortly after my family moved to 205th and Bainbridge.
