Only two drivers stopped? This is our new class of people in Texas. What an awful way to die.

@houstonUser1470087009 this was my first thought. But I remembered a news story about a homeless man being run over by several cars in Los Angeles I think, a while ago. It said something about the later drivers thinking they had driven over roadkill. Which is gruesome, but - depending on the circumstances - wouldn’t necessarily be out of the question. Regardless, the drivers of the first car or 2 would’ve definitely known they’d hit a human

2nded, piromerda. This is social murdеr. Our streets need to be redesigned with pedestrian safety at the forefront, not an afterthought. This happens all too often. So many of our streets have NO sidewalks, much less safe ones with safe crosswalks. There is NO excuse.

Tragic, condolences to his family. I don’t understand how one can go about their day knowing they struck a human being. Absolutely sad situation.

That poor man! It was bad enough to be hit by one vehicle, but six? I pray for his family. 😢
