People, please be careful with heat sources in the home. Last winter, there were too many fires in the area, too many, and many were the faults of the tenants/homeowners. Our radiators get boiling hot (which we actually love) but we make sure that no furniture, paper, liquids, etc are near the radiators. If you use space heaters, do not sit them near beds, furniture, etc. If you use candles, please don’t use them unattended, or while sleeping. If you smoke, a cigiarette/joint can set bedding/furniture on fire. BE SMART. 🔥
@NotParanoidBoom another note: you can sue a person who is responsible for a fire, even if they didn’t mean to do it. So think if that part of things as well and just be responsible to yourself and neighbors in regards to fire safety.
Got video of the fire from my window at foster marine. It was wild to see. Hope everyone made it out safely
Fire trucks at Glenwood & Argyle have finally rolled out. Still some activity in the area.
im a few blocks down and they came to our building first since someone called 911 because we could smell smoke in the building. But i can still se a helicopter out there and a bunch of smoke and lights going. Its been over 2hrs now
