The streets are no joke. Y'all are so scared of the subway, but in reality 20x more people are killed by cars above ground than the trains and killings in the subway. See and be seen, put your phone down and don't assume if it's green that you don't have to pay attention
I was walking past as it happened. I was behind a truck so I didn’t see it but I heard a collision/thud and then a car peeled out (black sedan I think) right over one person and hit at least 2 others. It was a horrific scene
This entire area from 34th st to 42nd around 2nd and 3rd Ave is the deadliest for pedestrians. I’m tired of it.
She got pinned between two trucks. One still on scene, one took off
