The NYPD has released photos of the suspect accused of torching 11 police vehicles in Brooklyn earlier this month. Police say the suspect climbed over a parking lot gate and placed fire starters on the windshields, hoods and tires of multiple NYPD vehicles, igniting a fire that caused severe damage before fleeing on foot. The suspect has been identified as Jakhi Lodgson-McCray.
A police officer interrupted the act, forcing the suspect to flee through an alley with fire starter materials found on three untouched vehicles. City officials believe the arson is linked to anti-ICE protests.
