Firefighters confirm that the helicopter has been at the location since 6:30 this morning.
NYPD Emergency Service Unit (ESU) is also operating at the scene, per firefighters.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported at this time.
Firefighters are operating at the scene, where an ABC 7 news helicopter made a "hard landing" at a nearby baseball field.

This happened at 6:47 this morning . The helicopter engine smoked . Trying to find a spot to land it just happened the school was empty
At least it landed and not crashed dumb orange president
And waiting on clearance to continue flying...... Jeez
Maybe if Elon and trump didn’t fire over 9,000 workers that deal with the planes we wouldn’t be having all these crashes this what people ask for now be careful what you ask and wish for

Nope I ain't flying no more. I had already got a fear after 9/11. Took me 5 years ago to get on a plane again. And now all this... smh I refuse.
