Person Struck by (2) Train, Residual Delays Reported

According to an update from the MTA, 2 and 5 trains are running with delays in both directions after emergency teams assisted someone struck by a train near 149 St-Grand Concourse.

For service to/from Harlem-148 St take M2, M7, or M102 bus making nearby station stops. Expect delays on 1 trains while they share the tracks with rerouted trains.

All firefighters have safely boarded the train with the deceased person, which is heading back to the 149th Street Station.

Firefighters have secured the body and are transporting it back to the 149th Street Station after power was removed from the tracks.
