According to a press release from the NYPD, on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at approximately 9:12 PM, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in the rear of 744 Park Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 37-year-old male victim who sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. EMS transported the male to NYC Health+Hospitals/Kings County where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
