Police have identified the deceased in Friday's fatal stabbing as 17-year-old Carlos Rivas from the Bronx.
A stabbing attack at a deli on East 108 Street and 2nd Avenue in East Harlem, Manhattan, left a 17-year-old dead and two others injured. The incident occurred Friday, January 3, 2025, at approximately 6:13 p.m. Police responded to a 911 call reporting an assault in progress and found three male victims with injuries. The 17-year-old sustained stab wounds to the chest and abdomen and was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem, where he was later pronounced dead. A 22-year-old man suffered a stab wound to his left arm, and a 62-year-old man had a laceration on his forehead. Both were taken to local hospitals in stable condition. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
