My thoughts are with his family. I have always told my family if you break down never get out of the vehicle.
Maybe the poor guy stepped out the truck to do maintenance or it probably broke down and he got hit
Always switch to a different lane when a car is parked on the shoulder.
People need to watch the roads! If you see a vehicle pulled to the side give them room.
