The deceased teen has been identified as 16-year-old Clarence Jones. Police are still searching for two suspects.
Police are securing the crime scene and blocking off streets to manage traffic around the area of the shooting.
No arrests have been made but police are investigating.
The teen was shot in chest by two men who fled the scene on Razor scooters. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
According to a report from Pix11 Morning News, a 16-year-old boy was shot and killed around 1:40am on October 24th, 2024.

We as people are given the title of PARENTS for a reason. People let’s start parenting. We are not these kids FRIENDS. I would much rather be a OLD HEAD than a DEAD HEAD. These kids are being raised with no morals NO respect. Now a days these kids walk around more with guns than they do school books. Discipline is not child abuse. There maybe a lot of wrong doing, but lets not take away the fact that a 16yr old is dead, somebody son, someone’s sibling. He shouldn’t have been outside that late, but that doesn’t mean shoot him. How many times we come on this app and our young kids are shooting or being shot in broad daylight.

Parents. We need to control our kids before we lose them to the streets! Your kid doesn’t want to go to school??? JOBCORP! It’s residential. They’ll get their diploma and a trade. Don’t let them become a statistic or a grave marker.
