- On Wednesday, August 21, 2024, around 3:40 PM, officers went to a 911 report of an ongoing assault at 751 Monroe Street, located in the 81 Precinct. When they arrived, they found a 54-year-old man who had been shot in the chest. Emergency Medical Services took him to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County, but he unfortunately did not survive his injuries. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is still in progress.
