- Accordingt to the NYPD, on August 3, 2024, at around 11:40 p.m., three unidentified men engaged in a dispute with five people at the northwest corner of 37th Avenue and 100th Street. The dispute escalated, with the men brandishing knives and assaulting multiple people.
- Three survivors were transported by EMS to a hospital, with two in critical condition and one in stable condition. Another two survivors are also in stable condition.
- The three suspects fled the scene - two ran westbound on 37th Avenue, while the third went eastbound. The first suspect is described as a man with black hair and a black beard, last seen wearing a white graphic tee, blue jeans, and black and white sneakers. The second is a man with black hair, last seen in a white shirt, blue jean shorts, and white sneakers.
