One Woman Dead, One Critical After Shooting on Upper East Side

According to an NYPD press conference, earlier this morning patrol officers received multiple 911 calls regarding shots fired. Upon arriving at the scene, officers located a white Honda Civic with an injured woman near the rear of the car. The second injured woman was lying nearby on the sidewalk. According to police, both women sustained gunshot wounds to their heads. A loaded firearm was discovered in between both women. A one-year-old child was found inside the vehicle unharmed. Per police, this incident is currently being investigated as a murder-suicide.
