Two teenagers were arrested and face charges in the Charlotte shooting spree that left one dead and several injured early Tuesday. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police arrested a 16-year-old found with a stolen gun in a suspicious car matching witness descriptions. He faces charges including first-degree murder. CMPD officers located a 58-year-od man shot in a car on Statesville Ave around 1 a.m. and he was pronounced deceased on the scene. A second victim was located near the intersection of Newland Rd and LaSalle St around 1:09 a.m. The third victim was struck while inside a residence on the 2100 Block of Catherine Simmons Avenue around 1:11 a.m. The fourth victim was a bicyclist on Nations Ford Road who was shot around 1:25 a.m. Officer believe all four shootings are connected.

I doubt they’d offer that much money as a reward if they didn’t have reasonable doubt to think it was all connected. I don’t have a map in front of me to see where these happened in relation to another, but they’re all 5-15 minutes apart at around 1am… not too many people out so leads me to believe they shot whoever they came across.

I don’t have a map in front of me to see where these happened in relation to another, but they’re all 5-15 minutes apart at around 1am… not too many people out so leads me to believe they shot whoever they came across.
