Man Dies From Gunshot Wound After Crash on I-10 Freeway

The following is a statement from the Arizona Department of Public Safety to a Citizen source: "Around 3:30 a.m., DPS Troopers responded to a vehicle collision in the area of 7th Avenue and the I-10 Freeway involving a single vehicle. When troopers arrived, they located an adult male inside of the vehicle involved. Fire personnel began to treat the man for his injuries and noticed what appeared to be at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased. Detectives are responding to assume the investigation. The westbound lanes of the freeway will be shut down from 7th Avenue for an extended period of time as the scene investigation is conducted. Additional details regarding this incident remain part of the ongoing investigation."

i’m honestly shocked that we don’t see road rage incidents like this more often considering how angry and armed so many men are in the phx area ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
