On Sunday evening, a shooting on I-77 near Cuyahoga Heights resulted in one fatality and another person injured. David Perez, 57, of Cleveland, was identified as the deceased. Ian Rich, the suspect, was arrested after the incident. The altercation began on I-77 near I-480, leading to the closure of I-77 around Harvard Ave. The suspect was driving an Audi convertible with license plate KDV6311. Rich was seen in the 6000 block of Fleet Avenue before being apprehended in Bratenahl. Cuyahoga Heights Fire Department transported two victims to MetroHealth Medical Center. Authorities are investigating the motive behind the shooting.
