A 36-year-old male, Dashawn Coggins, was arrested and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon on at 03:30 a.m. this morning. This follows a disturbing incident on Friday, March 29th, around 9:24 p.m. where police responded to a call at 160-46 121 Avenue. They found 61-year-old Natalie Coggins with a gunshot wound to her head. Despite EMS's efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Dashawn Coggins is in custody as a person of interest, but the investigation continues.
