According to the NYPD, two people were killed after shots rang out in East Harlem last night. The victims were identified as an 18-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man, who both died from their injuries.
A male victim of the shooting is in traumatic arrest with CPR in progress, being transported to a local hospital.
Correction to earlier reports: one victim was shot in the head; the second victim, initially thought to be shot, was not. EMS is providing care.
